Art Therapy – Using Art as a Catalyst for Healing

Art therapy reduces pain, anxiety, tension, and therefore improves participants' mental, emotional, and even physical states, and social skills. It can raise the quality of life for some people.

We invite our patients to join us for our weekly Art Therapy group. You don't need any art talent at all, just bring your willingness to explore and enjoy decorative art lessons.

Jo-Anne Naugler has been teaching our Art Therapy group at the Radiation Center of Greater Nashua for the past five years. After retiring as a high school math & computer science teacher, Jo-Anne followed her dream of learning to paint. She has studied with many local and international teachers as well as being a member of the International Society of Decorative Painters.

Art Therapy participants enjoy creating beautiful works of art while spending quality time together with other patients who may be going through similar circumstances.

The Art Therapy group meets on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 pm at our office. For more information, please call us at (603) 880-1590.
