3/10/2020 IMPORTANT NOTICE: For the benefit and safety of our patients and staff, the Radiation Center of Greater Nashua is stopping any group meetings from being held at the center. This includes Art Therapy, Cancer Support and Caregiver Support groups for the immediate future. This is in response to the CDC's guidelines to decrease or diminish the spread of the coronavirus. We will notify you when we will start these groups again.

 

Support Groups

Many people find comfort and support in sharing their experiences. Support groups are here to help you!

The following support groups are offered on a regular basis to provide a forum for patients and families coping with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

Art Class

Thursdays from 2:30-4:30pm at the Radiation Center of Greater Nashua. You don't need any art talent at all, just bring your willingness to explore and enjoy decorative art lessons. Starter art supplies are provided. Weather can impact group meeting dates. Taught by Jo-Anne Naugler, learn more & see photos here

Greater Nashua
Cancer Support Group

This cancer support group is led by a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Registered Nurse. There is no charge for this group. Open to those diagnosed with cancer or their caregivers. Light refreshments will be served. Join us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00–8:00pm at the Radiation Center of Greater Nashua. Cancer Caregiver Support Group

Nashua Cancer Prayer
& Support Group

This cancer support group meets on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm at the United Methodist Church, 154 Main Street, Nashua. For more information: 603-882-3361.

Living with Cancer

The Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Catholic Medical Center, 87 McGregor St, Manchester, NH 03102 offers a

Stage IV Breast Cancer Support Group
